Jorge Arce Makes Televisa Debut on February 14th

Former four division world champion Jorge Arce will make his debut appearance as an expert commentator on Televisa Deports next Saturday night, when rising super featherweight contender Adrian Estrella tops the card against Adonis Aguelo in Los Mochis, Mexico.

Arce retired after last October's knockout loss to WBC featherweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez. He then signed a multi-year deal with Televisa to become an expert commentator for their boxing broadcasts.

The business move caught many people by surprise in Mexico, because Arce was promoted throughout his career by Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions - and Zanfer does exclusive business with network rival TV Azteca. Beltran issued a press release earlier this year to make it known that he was still very close friends with Arce and had no bad feelings over his former fighter's decision to go Televisa.
