John Murray is aiming to restore some cheer to Joe Gallagher's gym when he fights Kevin Mitchell next weekend.
Gallagher's lengthy unbeaten streak as a trainer came to an end at the weekend when Matt Macklin lost to Felix Sturm in Germany.
But with Murray's fight against Mitchell just around the corner, the Mancunian might not have to wait long for more positive news.
He will be in charge in Murray's corner on July 9 at London's ExCeL Arena, with the WBO Intercontinental lightweight title on the line.
"It's the perfect time to get another unbeaten streak going," said Murray, who himself is unbeaten in more than 30 fights.
"Joe's personal record may have gone, but I've never lost a fight as a professional, and I don't plan on starting now.
"I was gutted for Matt at the weekend because I thought he deserved to win. But these things happen in boxing, and hopefully I can put a smile back on people's faces with a win next week."
