British Boxing Board of Control general secretary Robert Smith tells the Evening Times that former WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison (27-3-2, 15KOs) has been suspended because he failed to supply documents regarding any and all outstanding court issues. Harrison has had a long history over the years with several criminal cases related to assaults, theft, substance abuse. Harrison did a stretch of prison time and his career was hit with a huge gap from November 2005 to June 2012.
A meeting with the BBBoC will be held on November 13th, when Harrison hopes to regain his license to continue fighting. Harrison has been inactive since an April loss to Liam Walsh.
