Grzegorz Proksa Inks a Deal With Matchroom Sport

Matchroom Sport makes another big move, as the British promotional firm has signed rising Polish star Grzegorz Proksa (26-0, 19KOs), who recently captured the vacant EBU middleweight title with a dominating three round stoppage of former IBF champion Sebastian Sylvester (34-5-1, 16KOs). The Polish boxer revealed that he signed a deal with Barry Hearn of Matchroom.

"Ever since I watched the fight between Chris Eubank and Graciano Rocchigiani in Germany in 1994, I dreamed of one day being able to fight under the Matchroom banner. I believe that with Matchroom behind me, I can reach a world title shot by next year," Proksa said.
