Giovani Segura vs. Pingo Miranda Clash in The Works

According to sources in Zanfer Promotions, the company is working on a flyweight battle for the month of May - between former champions Giovani Segura (28-2-1, 24KOs) and Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda (37-6-1, 29KOs).
In 2011, both fighters lost to current WBO champion Brian Viloria. The Filipino boxer won a close twelve round decision over Miranda in July and then stopped Segura, a heavy favorite to win, in eight rounds last December. Since the loss, Miranda has already entered the ring twice and won both times. The May bout would Segura's first since Viloria.
