Eric Morel Open To Facing Jorge Arce on 2/18 in Mexico

Cyril Morel, the father and trainer of former champion Eric Morel (46-2, 23KOs), says they are ready and willing to face WBO super bantamweight king Jorge Arce on February 18th in Durango, Mexico. Arce plans to make the first defense of his title on February 18. Golden Boy Promotions spoke with Morel about facing WBA champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno, but there doesn't appear to be much movement on the fight.
"We are ready to fight [Arce] anywhere. Moreno said that he would fight in April but he doesn't know who the opponent is. But if people behind Arce accept and negotiate with Golden Boy Promotions, of course we are going to fight," Arce said.
