Drozd Is back on March 15, Faces Jeremy Ouanna

According to Allboxing.ru, hard-hitting Russian cruiserweight stalwart Grigory Drozd (37-1, 26 KOs), who recently captured the European championship after a smashing stoppage of previously undefeated (30-0) Pole Mateusz Masternak on Oct. 5, is set to come back on March 15 against Frenchman Jeremy Ouanna.

French champion Ouanna (14-8, 3 KOs) is the mandatory challenger for the blue belt. The fight will crown a huge Moscow night of boxing, which will be staged by the “World of Boxing” promotional company, led by top-notch Russian boxing tycoon Andrey Ryabinskiy.

Drozd, 34, is rated #3 by the WBC and IBF, #4 by the WBA and #7 by the WBO. He is also ranked high at #5 by The Ring magazine. Ouanna, 32, though possessing a deceiving record, has never been stopped in his career and can present a nice stamina test for the Russian fighter.
