Former two division world champion David Haye is still angling to secure a match with WBC heavyyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Haye, who lost twelve round decision to younger brother Wladimir last July, retured earlier this year with an impressive knockout victory of Dereck Chisora. Vitali is still weighing his options. He may retire from boxing and pursue a full-time career in politics in Ukraine. Vitali, 41-years-old, doesn't plan to make a decision on his career until early 2013.
"It's no great secret that I want to knock out Vitali Klitschko in 2013," Haye told The Evening Standard. "The contract for the fight has been agreed and is there ready to sign. Were it simply up to me, I'd be training to fight right now.
"Nobody seems to know if Vitali wants to set foot again in the ring, let alone face somebody as dangerous as me. What I do know is that by this time next year I will either be a retired former world heavyweight champ or the new world heavyweight champ."
