Chagaev-Pianeta: Kretschmann Injured, Off The Card

By Per Ake Persson

Steffen Kretschmann has suffered an injury in training and is out of the all-German fight for the vacant WBO European heavyweight championship against Michael Wallisch (14-0) that was set as the chief support to Ruslan Chagaev's defense of the WBA 'regular' heavyweight title against Francesco Pianeta on July 11 in Magdeburg.

However, SES have found a substiute in Italian Fabio Tuiach (27-4).  Tuiach comes in off an upset loss to Salvatore Erittu in a fight where he lost the national title.

Wallisch holds the German - BDB version - title.
