Flyweight contender Brian Viloria will fight Danny Flores on July 25, Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman told BoxingScene.com.
The eight round bout will headline a 'Solo Boxeo Tecate' card and will be televised on UniMas, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ PT.
Goodman told BoxingScene.com that the card will now take place at the Florentine Gardens in Hollywood, Calif., as opposed to the Civic Auditorium in nearby Glendale.
Viloria (35-4, 21 KOs) has won his last three bouts in a row since losing a 12 round split decision to Juan Francisco Estrada in April of 2013. The Waipahu, Hawaii resident is currently Estrada's mandatory challenger.
The 2000 United States Olympian is also ranked amongst the top three in the other major sanctioning bodies.
Viloria is promoted by Top Rank and trains out of the famed Wild Card Gym in Hollywood.
Flores (14-7-1, 8 KOs) is winless in his last six bouts. In his last bout on May 15, Flores gave Ivan Morales some difficulties before being knocked out in the eighth and final round.
In the co-feature, featherweight Guy Robb will fight Edwin Solis in an eight round bout.
Robb (15-1, 7 KOs) has won his last eight bouts in a row since being stopped by Joel Diaz Jr. in January of 2012. In his last bout on January 24, Robb stopped Jose Silveira in the seventh round.
Solis (6-3-3, 4 KOs) lost an eight round unanimous decision to Toka Kahn Clary on March 14.
