The hits keep on coming for manager/adviser Al Haymon, who continues to sign fighters at a rapid rate. Last month, BoxingScene.com reported a quick swoop, where Haymon signed ten fighters to his voluminous stable. In that report, we revealed that Haymon's company, Haymon Boxing, was negotiating with at least 30 other boxers.
Some of those fighters have come to light in the last few days - and others, like Canadian superstar Lucian Bute, was revealed late last month.
A few days ago, BoxingScene reported that former champions Kiko Martinez and Gabriel Campillo signed on with Haymon. Earlier today, former champion Marvin Sonsona signed on with Haymon .
Haymon wasn't done for today it seems, as three fighters from Boston have joined his stable.
WBA #10 ranked super featherweight Ryan "Polish Prince" Kielczewski (21-0, 5KOs), middleweight Mark "The Bazooka" DeLuca (12-0, 9KOs) and welterweight Danny O'Connor (24-2, 8KOs).
Kielczewski saw action three times in 2014, winning fights over Guillermo Sanchez, Ramsey Luna and Ernesto Guerrero.
DeLuca, 27-years-old and navy seal veteran, returned to the ring last year after being inactive since November of 2010. During that period he was serving in the armed forces. He saw action four times and knocked out all four of those opponents in four rounds or less.
O'Connor is a known ticket seller in his hometown and the surrounding areas. He returned to the ring last October, snapping a year layoff, with a fourth round knockout of Andrew Farmer.
Haymon's stable, likely at 160 to 170 fighters, continues to explode as the powerful manager/adviser rolled out two long term television deals last month with NBC and Spike TV. Haymon's fighters are also being showcased on Showtime and ESPN2.
