EBU middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders (20-0, 11KOs) has promised to put a real hurt on prospect Chris Eubank Jr. (17-0, 12KOs). They are going to fight on November 29th at the ExCel Arena in London.
Saunders has gone as far as to promise retirement if Eubank is able to win that night. He has no respect for the second generation fighter. Saunders says Eubank is fraud who is living off the name of his famous father, Chris Eubank Sr.
"I've never been so serious about a fight in my life, ever," Saunders told Daily Mail. "I'm going to get in that ring and absolutely destroy him. I promise you that now. And the referee will have to rip me off him, simple as that. If I get beat by Chris Eubank Jr., I'll give up boxing - end of story. He's not his own man. He's lived off his dad's name and he's in his dad's shadow. He ain't got the bottle to turn up and be a man. He's 25 and his dad probably still slaps him."
