Beltran: Tomas Rojas Back on September 3 in Veracruz

According to promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, the super flyweight world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Mexico's Tomas "Gusano" Rojas, will defend his crown for the third time on September 3 in his native Veracruz. Beltran wanted to set the record straight, after promoters in Thailand announced that Rojas was fighting in their country on August 23 against Suriyan Sor Rungvisai.
"The only promoters for Tomas Rojas are us, and nobody but us can sign a contract for one of our constituents. Therefore, there is no possibility that Tomas is going to Thailand. Whenever a fight is signed for some of our constituents, we will announce it in person or through the press. In this case, the misinformation comes from the Thai promoters," said Beltran.
