Alekseev Could Be Facing Firat Arslan on 5/11, Hamburg

EBU cruiserweight king Aleksander Alekseev will make a voluntary defense of the title on May 11 in Hamburg with E C Box Promotion staging the event. Hamburger Abendblatt writes that the opponent could be non other than ex-WBA champ Firat Arslan, who´s with Universum.
 
According to HA, E C and Universum have agreed to the fight - while Arslan has yet to say yes.
 
Alexeev, formerly with Universum, became E C´s first major champion when he beat Enad Licina in February. Styles blend well in this matchup with Alekseev´s classy boxing against Arslan´s steady pressure and strength.
