BoxingScene.com reported Wednesday that Joseph Agbeko failed to honor his end of the agreement for the fight with Guillermo Rigondeaux in submitting to VADA testing.
BoxingScene.com was advised by Rigondeaux's manager Gary Hyde on Friday that Agbeko (29-4, 22 KOs) finally fulfilled his obligation.
"Team Rigondeaux can confirm that Joseph Agbeko has submitted his VADA screening paperwork and it has been accepted," Hyde said. "We're fully committed to keeping the sport of boxing drug free and we are satisfied that Joseph Agbeko is cooperating fully with VADA."
As a two-time Olympic gold medalist, Rigondeaux (12-0, 8 KOs) has been subjected to strict drug testing since 1999.
All systems are go now with testing for Rigondeaux's Dec. 7 world junior featherweight championship defense in Atlantic City.
