Heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek was one of the many observers who was disappointed with last Saturday's heavyweight fight between Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye. Wladimir won a unanimous twelve round decision in a one-sided fight. Adamek (44-1, 28 KOs) faces Wladimir's older brother, WBC champion Vitali Klitschko in the month of September in Poland. The tough Pole was not surprised with the way the fight played out and doesn't see any reason for a rematch, which Haye is interested in putting together.
"I felt nothing [when I watched Klitschko-Haye] because the fight wasn't much. In fact, this is exactly what I expected. Haye has never been a boxer who fights punch for punch. But I was hoping that he would go out there and try to win, but that wasn't evident when he was in the ring. A rematch? And who would want to buy and watch it? I don't think they managed to create any type of interest for a second fight. A lot of people were disappointed after watching that," Adamek said.
