Former two-division world champion "King" Arthur Abraham (36-4, 28KOs) is expecting to face WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz in a trilogy fight in the next few months. Abraham captured the title with a twelve round decision over Stieglitz last August, but the tables were turned when Stieglitz stopped Abraham within four rounds of their March rematch. Abraham's eye was closed shut and the referee/doctors would not allow him to continue further.
"I lost because my eye was closed. The referee stopped it and there was nothing that I could do. This is boxing, my eye is very important. I hope to have the rematch in five, six months. I will win," Abraham said.
This Saturday in London, Abraham's stablemate Mikkel Kessler will face Carl Froch in a super middleweight unification.
"I think Kessler will win on points and not a knockout," Abraham said.
