Filipinos Al Sabaupan and Sonny Boy Jaro will face Puerto Ricans Jose “Chelo” Gonzalez and McWilliams Arroyo on February 2 at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, where former two time world champion Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez will return to the ring in a PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) presentation in association with Top Rank, and broadcast on DIRECTV Pay Per View.

“These (Sabaupan and Jaro) will be good foes for Chelo Gonzalez and McWilliams Arroyo. There are hard tests for them”, PRBBP Vice-President Peter Rivera said.

Chelo Gonzalez (21-0, 16 KOs), who is ranked #1 by the WBO in the lightweight division, will defend his WBO Latino lightweight title for the fourth time against Al Sabaupan (20-1-1, 15 KOs) in a fight scheduled for 12 rounds. Sabaupan is a 24 year old southpaw, whose only defeat was against contender Marvin Quintero. Sabaupan is ranked #9 by the IBF in the lightweights and #15 by the WBO in the junior welter division.

Meanwhile, McWilliams Arroyo (13-1, 11 KOs), the #6 WBO ranked at flyweight, also will defend his WBO Latino flyweight belt versus the former world champion Sonny Boy Jaro (34-11-5, 24 KOs) in a 12 round bout. Jaro lost his WBC flyweight title in July 2012 in a split decision against Toshiyuki Igarashi. Actually, Jaro is ranked #4 by the WBC at flyweights.

Headlining the show Juanma Lopez (31-2, 28 KOs) will face Aldimar Silva Santos (18-3, 9 KOs), from Brazil, in a fight scheduled to 10 rounds in 128 pounds. Lopez is #5 ranked by the WBO in the featherweight division.
