"I want to dedicate my fight to Jose Sulaiman," said Chris ‘Nightmare’ Arreola (36-3, 31KOs), who's ready to contest the WBC heavyweight title against Bermane Stiverne (23-1-1, 20KOs) on May 10 in Los Angeles.
“I’m in shape I sparred strong. I’m in the best condition ever. The fight will be for me, my family, Mexico and Mr Sulaiman. I want to dedicate my fight to Jose Sulaiman” he stressed.
Arreola knows that trim is important, and no short cuts are acceptable, in order to gain his slice of the triumph.
“I won’t be fighting in 242 pounds nor 237 pounds. I want to press Stiverne from round one throughout. Bermane is a good fighter who moves a lot in the ring, which is why I have to be in tremendous condition.
“I’m in better shape, I’m mentally stronger. In the first fight with Bermane he broke my nose in the third round, the pain was unbearable, and that affected my performance, said Arreola.”
