Heavyweight contender Chris Arreola (32-2, 28 KOs) is going to continue his streak of heavy activity on Saturday night, when he faces Friday Ahunanya (24-7-3, 13 KOs) in a ten round bout at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Arreola-Ahunanya fight will take place on the undercard of Paul Williams vs. Erislandy Lara, which is being televised by HBO. This will mark Arreola's fourth bout of the year and the year is only halfway done.

During a recent interview, WBO/WBA/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko mentioned Arreola as a possible fall opponent in New York City. Arreola will continue to be active, and believes he will be ready if the Klitschko offer is presented.

“The best thing for me, as for any fighter is to be active,” he said to scribe Rich Mancuso. "For now my focus is on Saturday. I need these fights. I am conditioned to go twelve rounds and feel great about myself. If the chance is there to fight either Klitschko, of course I will be ready.”
