Unbeaten junior middleweight Daquan Arnett (7-0, 5 KOs) will no longer fight Arturo Rodriguez (12-12, 8 KOs) on this Saturday’s card in Sacramento, Calif., after the latter pulled out due to family reasons and a replacement could not be secured in time.
“I was really looking forward to fighting in front of the California crowd,” Arnett told BoxingScene.com. “I was told I’ll be fighting instead on a card in Puerto Rico next week.”
The Yoshihiro Kamegai-Jorge Silva main event and Jorge Linares-Hector Velazquez co-feature will be televised on Fox Sports Net. The twinbill headlines a nine-bout show that has Golden Boy prospects Hugo Centeno (15-0, 8 KOs) and Chris Pearson (5-0, 4 KOs) as well as hometown fighters Guy Robb (9-1, 4 KOs) and John Abella (2-0, 1 KO) on the undercard. Tickets can be purchased on Pacopresentsboxing.com and range from $20-60.
