Argenis Mendez-Juan Carlos Salgado, IBF Title on 8/20

Hector Garcia of HG Boxing has announced that deal has been reached for former champion Juan Carlos Salgado (23-1-1, 16KOs) to face Argenis Mendez (18-1, 9KOs) for the vacant IBF super featherweight title. The bout was originally announced for July 23, but Garcia says the new date is August 20th in Mexico. The venue will be announced in the next couple of days.
