Archie Solis' Home Burglarized, Title Belts Stolen

By Jhonny Gonzalez

The home of IBF flyweight champion Ulysses "Archie" Solis, located in Colonia Los Arrayanes in Guadalajara, Jalisco, was burglarized on Saturday night and his world title belts were among the listed items that were stolen. The IBF title that he won in 2009 and later reclaimed from Luis Lazarte in February, were stolen. Other items taken inlcude an Iphone, an Ipod, a laptop, a digital camera, $ 10,000 in cash, and an IBF gold ring.

"What hurts me most are the belts, because of the effort that I put in to win them. These are things that can not be sold. They are unique and we hope to recover them." Solis said.

There is a reward for anyone with information on the stolen belts. Please email [email protected]
