Arce: I Will Shut Doubters' Mouths, Beat Donaire

By Rafael Soto

With 17 days to go until his date with history, former world champion Jorge Arce continues his training camp in Los Mochis, Sinaloa where he is pushing himself to the max for his interesting fight with WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire, which takes place on Saturday December 15 at the Toyota Center in Houston. The function will be televised on HBO and in Mexico by Azteca 7. Arce has been sparring with Josesito Montiel, Miguel Beltran Jr. and Oscar Arce.

Arce had for the last four weeks in Mexico City in the gym of Don Nacho Beristain and the last 3 weeks are going to be staged in Los Mochis.

"We've had a great camp for my fight with Donaire. The last stage is here at sea level, thanks to my staff and friends, and we will once again surprise the boxing world on the 15th of December. Thanks to those who criticize me and leave me for dead, all of them are my main motivators. I will shut down their mouths, because I will defeat Donaire," Arce said.

Heres hoping Arce doesn't literally die after his spectacular annihilation this Dec 15th.

Sorry Arce, but that's not happening.

If Arce was still hungry Id give him a slim shot.....people forget Donaire's fight versus Concepcion....a come forward fighter who took all Nonito dished out and had his moments even though he was terribly outclassed in every way except size...…

this will end early with arce on the canvass face down and half-dead. i guess it's the only way for fighters like him to fully comprehend retirement, as well as cashing out

Arce will get KTFO. I'm interested though what happens in the undercard between Rigo and Poon.
