Antonio Tarver May Sit Ringside For Toney vs. Lebedev

By Ruslan Chikov and Yuri Tarantino/Allboxing.ru

According to event promoter, Vladimir Hryunov, IBO cruiserweight champion Antonio Tarver may travel to Moscow, Russia to sit ringside for the anticipated battle between former three division champion James "Lights Out" Toney (77-6-3, 44KOs) and top rated cruiserweight Denis Lebedev (22-1, 17KOs). The fight takes place on November 4th at the Khodynka Ice Palace

"We sent an invitation to Tarver and I think he's going to try to attend the show - said Hryunov. "According to him, he can not stand James Toney, so his arrival will be extra motivation."

If Lebedev wins, would Tarver's appearance at ringside create the early build-up to a possible fight between the two boxers.?

"It's not impossible - Hryunov said. - "However, it is too early to anticipate [fight], as Denis has a difficult fight ahead."

It makes me really mad that toney was too much of a fat ass and never took care of himself. Hopkins/toney would have been legendary and tarver/toney would of been interesting too. Now whats the point? Toney is completely shot.
