Anthony Joshua says he has not yet decided whether he will turn professional or box on in the amateurs until the next Olympics in Rio.

Joshua won the super-heavyweight gold medal at London 2012 but has so far resisted calls to step up to the paid ranks.

"I like to take things one step at a time. To compete in Rio would be an honour, but remember firstly you have to do the qualifications," Joshua told Sky Sports News Radio.

"I'm a thinker and I haven't jumped the gun or jumped at any contract or put my signature on any paper at the minute."

"As for the professional world - as long as I'm fighting, that's what I want to do.

"Depending on what the public want and their perception of where they see me - because they're heavily involved in my career as well - it's all a big decision that we'll all make together."
