ANTHONY JOSHUA will take a step up in class to face Matt Skelton next month after blowing away yet another opponent.

Former British, Commonwealth and European heavyweight champion Skelton is now 47 but is expected to offer the 2012 Olympic gold medallist more of a challenge than Matt Legg.

Joshua, 24, completed his sixth stoppage in as many professional fights in just 83 seconds at Wembley on Saturday as he finished Legg off with a sweet right uppercut.

He said: "I could potentially now step up but I've never been past two rounds.

"I'll be out again in Liverpool on July 12 against Skelton so it will be good to get six to eight rounds in."
If he wants rounds, surely a fight with Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson is on the horizon?
That would be the perfect opponent for him after 3 or 4 more fights if he wants rounds.

Skelton only lasted 2 against Price, a man who at a similar stage of his career seemed to posess the same huge power. He's older now, so I can't see it going much longer than that.
