Anthony Joshua Blasts Kisicek, Trumps Fury Result

York Hall, Bethnal Green, London - Top heavyweight prospect Anthony Joshua (3-0, 3KOs) stopped Hrvoje Kisicek (5-7, 1KO) in two. Joshua was unloading the punishment in the first round. He dropped Kisicek hard off a combination in the second. Joshua started unloading as he pressed Kisicek against the ropes and the referee jumped in. The fight was stopped a little early, but the writing was on the wall with Kisicek looking outclassed from the first minute.

What makes the win more impressive is that Kisicek went the six round distance with Hughie Fury (12-0, 7KOs) on October 13th.

The 2012 Olympic gold medal winner will now return next Saturday night on the Froch-Groves undercard against Hector Alfredo Avila at the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester. And then he has another fight booked against Dorian Darch on December 14th at the ExCel Arena in London.
