WBC super middleweight champion Anthony Dirrell (27-0-1, 22KO) has no interest in facing George Groves and seems upset of the World Boxing Council's decision to allow the British boxer to take part in a title eliminator against Christopher Rebrasse at Wembley Arena on Saturday night for the WBC's silver title. It will be Groves' first fight since getting knocked out by Carl Froch before a record crowd of 80,000 fans at Wembley on May 31.

Speaking to Sportsmail, Dirrell said: 'Who is this French guy? Seriously I've never heard of him. How can Groves fight him and then be my mandatory? He's a fraud. He wants a fight with me? He's just lost twice to Froch. Tell him he needs to fight someone in the top 10. He's fighting a bum. I won this belt the hard way and now he thinks he's going to get a shot without fighting anyone. It's not going to happen," Dirrell said.

Dirrell may not have say in the matter. If Groves wins on Saturday and the WBC orders the fight - Dirrell will have to face him or vacate his belt.

One fight Dirrell would certainly consider is a revenge unification with IBF/WBA 'regular' champion Froch. Older brother Andre Dirrell lost a controversial split decision to Froch in the Super Six tournament back in 2009.

But, because Anthony felt his brother got robbed that night - he refuses to face Froch or Groves on UK soil.

'There's no way I'll be going to the UK. I'm the champ," Dirrell said. "Everyone knows what happens over there - I won't be going over there to fight."

"The Froch fight would be an option. I want to fight the best - and George Groves is not the best. Froch though, he's one of the top guys, a good fighter who has beaten Groves twice in a row, he's more deserving but we don't know what he's doing yet."
