By Rick Reeno
BoxingScene.com has been advised that there ongoing discussions to establish a working relationship between Alfredo Angulo and powerful boxing adviser Al Haymon. Angulo's manager/attorney, Michael Miller, confirmed the information to BoxingScene.
The conversations have been positive and it appears the two sides are going to work together - after Angulo challenges former champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"Al Haymon and I have talked numerous times over the last several weeks. And we are going to work together in the future. The first client we are going to talk about is Alfredo Angulo and that is going to take place after the Canelo fight. And we are looking at a lot of other opportunities in the future and working together on other fights," Miller told BoxingScene.com.
