Cuban lightweight Angelo “La Cobra” Santana (12-0, 9 KO's) doesn't have a date for his comeback to the ring. Nevertheless, he trains enthusiastically and he hopes to return soon to continue his impressive and unbeaten career, where in twelve fights he defeated nine opponents by KO.

Santana trains along with Jorge Rubio at the Xtreme Boxing Gym in Hialeah, Miami. Now, he has conditioner DJ Montanocordoba, “El Maja” Socarras and Yenifiel Vicente helping to shape him for the future.

Rubio is hoping for big things from the 24 year-old Angelo Santana - “He is a boxer who has everything to be a champion - southpaw, aggressiveness and he also he has an exciting style.”

The only thing that worries Rubio is Santana's lack of activity. His managers are currently discussing the terms of his contract with Don King and they expressed that there will be some changes in the deal, and we are going to see Santana more often.
