Andy Lee Knocks Carlos Duran Out in Two Easy Rounds

Suburban Collection Showplace, Novi, Michigan - Middleweight contender Andy Lee (27-0, 19KOs) stopped overmatched Carlos Duran in the second round of a stay-busy fight. The opponent came in on late notice and his full record could not be heard over the poor audio on the live stream. The fight itself was a mismatch, the opponent was much smaller, and Lee could have laid down the hammer at any point in the contest. Lee's trainer and manager Emanuel Steward staged the event. After the bout, Lee called out WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Editor's Note: Although the entire telecast called Lee's opponent, Carlos Duran, the actual opponent is being reported as Saul Duran (40-20, 33 KOs).
