Akavov moves up to 8-1 but he is yet to score a stoppage. In a battle of two unbeatens, cruiserweight Andrey Knyazev (7-0, 3 KOs) scored a unanimous decision over eight against hard-hitting Uzbek Elyor Gulomov (8-1, 7 KOs), while welterweight Sherali Mamadaliev (16-2, 9 KOs) knocked out Latvian journeyman Stanislavs Leonovs (6-9, 6 KOs) in two.
