On April 27 in Pskov, Russia, local super bantamweight Andrey Bogdanov (17-1-1, 6 KOs) made a successful leap up in weight and acquired a vacant WBO Oriental featherweight title with a quality win over Filipino import Carlo Magali (16-7-2, 8 KOs). Magali gave Bogdanov a hard fight, but the Russian and BBU 122lb titleholder used his superior technique to outpoint Magali unanimously in a close battle. There were no knockdowns.

Artur Akavov captured a vacant WBC CISBB light middleweight title by scoring a ten-round unanimous decision over Uzbek Bekzod Yunusov (6-1, 3 KOs). Akavov moves up to 8-1 but he is yet to score a stoppage. In a battle of two unbeatens, cruiserweight Andrey Knyazev (7-0, 3 KOs) scored a unanimous decision over eight against hard-hitting Uzbek Elyor Gulomov (8-1, 7 KOs), while welterweight Sherali Mamadaliev (16-2, 9 KOs) knocked out Latvian journeyman Stanislavs Leonovs (6-9, 6 KOs) in two. Leonovs is yet to hear the final bell in his career – lose or win he gets the job done inside the distance.
