Andres "Jaguar" Gutierrez (27-0, 22KOs), the silver super bantamweight world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), want to test his skills by stepping in the ring with veteran and former champion Hugo Cazares (39-7-2, 27KOs). Gutierrez won a twelve round decision over Filipino Rey Perez last week in Mexico. The young 20-year-old fighter is looking to get a major title shot in 2014 and views Cazares as the perfect opponent to boost him in that direction.
"I would be honored to face a former champion like him. I happy to fight against an opponent with that history," Gutierrez said.
