Andre Ward: Froch and Kessler Misleading The Fans

Andre Ward has told Carl Froch's promoter Eddie Hearn to "pick up the phone" and make him an offer if he wants a rematch in 2013. Ward, the WBA and WBC super middleweight champion, plans to defend his titles again in February or March against Kelly Pavlik. Ward doubts that Froch, the IBF king, or WBA "regular" champ Mikkel Kessler are serious about fighting him.

"I would love it," Ward told Sky Sports about the possibility of facing Froch again. "I think Kessler and Froch are made for each other. But I don't think either one of them wants to fight me. I think they should stop misleading the fans and be honest.

"Neither Hearn or Sauerland (Kessler's promoters) have made us an offer to fight here in the States, or anywhere else in the world."

"Pick up the phone and make us an offer if you guys say you want this rematch. If you're that confident in Froch, pick up the phone."
Boring champion, who doesn't want to travel. What a waste of talent. Why would Kessler wanna go to Oakland again? Last time he was there he was treated like a tomato can with no respect.
Lol at waste of talent. Carry on though..
The hell they do. More people would PAY TO SEE Froch than Ward but anyone who knows one knows the other.
Froch has fought all over the world. Trust me he has more fans and more people who know who he is! Here in Canada they've put Froch fight live from England. You don't...

Ward used to come off as a humble guy but the arrogance reared its head in this interview. He was very defensive and reminded me of Floyd when he was asked challenging questions. Its no like Adam Smith or Johnny Nelson were accussing him of never leaving home and having unfair advanatges but its ...
I don't think Ward is concerned. He earned over $1.5M for easy work vs. Dawson. He'll make similar money for even easier work vs. Pavlik in March. If the Kessler or Froch rematches ever happen (which they won't), he'll make even more money for similar easy work. Ward will con...
If Ward wanted the fight so bad as he claims then he would grow a pair and stop being a vagina! Stop fighting at home so you can keep getting the home decision and the refs letting you fight the ugly fights you do because they are scared they won't make it out alive from your...
