According to promoter Lou DiBella, the welterweight clash between WBC titlist Andre Berto (27-0, 21 KOs), and top junior welterweight contender Victor Ortiz (28-2-2, 22 KOs), will take place at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort and Casino at Mashantucket, Connecticut. The fight will be part of an HBO televised, split-site doubleheader on April 16. HBO will pair the fight with a delayed broadcast of the junior welterweight clash involving WBA champion Amir Khan (24-1, 17KOs), and European champion Paul McCloskey, which takes place at the MEN Arena in England.
