Andrade: I'm Ready For Cotto, Canelo, Mayweather, Lara

By Bill "Two Scoops" Emes

WBO junior middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (21-0, 14KOs) is ready to face the best fighters of his division. Andrade was in action this past Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and demolished mandatory challenger Brian Rose (25-2) in seven rounds.

Andrade wants to fight the other champions at his weight, or even WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto - who is likely to return to 154-pounds.

"Whoever got a belt [is the next target]. I'm willing to put my belt up...Canelo, Lara, Carlos Molina, Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto.  I'm ready to show my talent to the next level and these are the next level fighters. If you got somebody who can go toe to toe with me, shout them out. Who is it?," Andrade said.

"I got a belt, I want to fight whoever has a belt. That's Carlos Molina. That's Lara or Canelo. That's Miguel Cotto. That's Floyd Mayweather."

I just don't see him beating Cotto, Canelo or Lara.

I'd agree with those on here saying fight a Trout or someone like that next. He has talent obviously, and it's OK to dream, but going too fast has a bad flipside sometimes.
