MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nev. - Amir "King" Khan (31-3) is chomping at the bit to enter the ring against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (46-1-1).

Their HBO distributed pay-per-view fight takes place on May 7th at the newly constructed T-Mobile Arena.

The fight takes place at a catchweight of 155 pounds and the WBC middleweight title will be at stake. Khan - who hails from Bolton, UK - is a natural welterweight, but didn't hesitate to move up 8 pounds to land the mega-fight that he has longed for after not being able to secure fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

"I'm not a fan of the whole catch-weight thing and I would have prefered the fight closer to the welterweight division but hey we want the fight and we have it at 155," said Khan.

The 29-year-old knows that he will be at a distinct weight disadvantage when he enters the ring on Saturday. Canelo typically packs on quite a bit of weight between the weigh in and fight night and Khan expects that trend to continue.

As for what weight he expects Canelo to enter the ring, Khan told BoxingScene.com, "I think he will175 pounds."
