Former world champion Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs) has returned home after his exploits on the hit ITV show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
Khan has been out of the ring since May of 2016, when he moved up to a catch-weight of 155-pounds to fight then WBC middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Khan was brutally knocked out in the sixth round, although he did very well in the early rounds by using his speed and movement.
After the loss to Canelo, Khan underwent surgery to correct and hand injury and that kept him out for the remainder of 2016.
He was then scheduled to face Manny Pacquiao back in April, but the Filipino star's team withdrew from the bout after the event investors were unable to verify the promised funds to finance the card.
Since the Pacquiao fight fell apart, Khan has been keeping himself busy with business ventures outside of boxing.
Amir, who recently flew back from Dubai, said: "I just thought it was my close family and a small meal. I didn't expect the whole jungle theme and so many people.
"The whole place looks like the jungle, with the critters and snakes." The only thing I was scared of was snakes and spiders. I got used to the spiders because I have seen a lot of them and while I was in the jungle I saw so many snakes go past me. Some of the trials had snakes involved."
He added: "I missed home cooking, the little treats like opening the fridge and picking what you want. I appreciate the littlest things. You miss the littlest things in life.
"You're away from your family, your friends, your kids and wife and everyone, it’s not easy, it’s very very hard."
The Olympic silver medallist revealed that he is staging his next fight in the UK.
Amir said: "I am going to fight in March, I was training in the jungle every day it and I’m glad I went, it was a detox, I came back and I was in shape.
"I want to fight in the UK, I think it is time."
