British star Amir Khan doesn't denyhe's pushing hard to get a fight with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. Khan fears that a fight with Mayweather will never happen. He failed in securing Mayweather in 2013, and got passed over for Mayweather's return on May 3rd, and because of scheduling issues he likely won't face him until May 2015 at the earliest.

"I think time might be running out. You always fear a little bit that the fight may not happen, but then I think to myself that at least the world knows I wanted it to happen. Its a fight I really want and if it never happens Ill be upset because he is the best out there. If hes not ready or confident then the fight isnt going to happen. Even if the world says fight Amir Khan next, if he says no then it wont happen," Khan said.
Khan's next fight should be Keith Thurman.
No. Khan should go after a name, Thurman or Porter would be pointless. Let Floyd fight them since people seem to rate them highly. I want to see him fight Bradley or Rios. Both have names and it's what Khan should be looking for. ...
