Pinnacle has long brought some of the areas best MMA shows to Pittsburgh. In 2016, they successfully ventured into the pro boxing game.

This Saturday July 2nd at 7pm, they will hold their 3rd pro boxing show at The Teamster Temple (4701 Butler Street in Lawrenceville). Each show has been packed to the balconies. As a late surprise addition to this card, Don King has added 3 of his world ranked fighters to this excellent club show.

The King fighters include: -Amir "Young Master" Imam: currently ranked #5 WBC and #9 WBA at super lightweight. The New York based contender is 18-1 (16 KOS) he will face Nicaragua's (16-19 12KO) Wilfredo Acuna.

-Trevor Bryan: currently ranked #10 WBA heavyweight. The 16-0 (11KO) Schenectady NY heavyweight will square off against veteran Galen Brown 44-33-1 (25KOs).

-Guillermo Jones: Panama export 44-3 (33KOs) Jones is the former WBA cruiserweight world champion. He fights rugged Philadelphia veteran Garret Jones 16-10 (9KOs).

The local pro portion of the card will feature:

-Undefeated Pittsburgh middleweight prospect Gerald "G5" Sherrell 2-0 (1KO) is set to battle 6'2 Michigan southpaw Marcus Maulding in the main event.

-MMA star Justin "The Hawk" Steve puts his 3-0 (1ko) boxing record on the line against West Virginia's Joel Guevara 3-0 (2KOs)

-Popular East End light heavyweight Sam "The Butcher" Suska 3-3 (2KOs) will face Ohio's Rick Morais 2-5 (0 KOS)

-Brookline's Mark Daley 0-0-1 faces off against Parkersburg WV 27 fight veteran Donny Miller.

-Pittsburgh welterweight Eric Palmer 8-10-1 (1KO) trades leather with Charleston WV's Prientkes Sander 2-0 (1ko).
