Alfredo Angulo To Face JC Candelo on August 20

By Ryan Burton

BoxingScene.com was advised by Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo's former trainer Clemente Medina that Angulo will return to the ring versus JC Candelo (32-10-4).  Angulo's return date of August 20th in his hometown of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico had previously been announced on BoxingScene.

Angulo (19-1) has been out of the ring since his first round knockout of Joachim Alcine on July 17th, 2010.  Shortly after that fight it was alleged that Angulo was in the country illegally and HBO wouldn't televise another one of his fights until he could prove that he had a valid visa.
