Alexander vs Matthysse: Sides are Apart on The Money
By Rick Reeno
BoxingScene.com was advised by Don King, promoter for former junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-1, 13 KOs), that he's still trying to finalize the terms for an HBO televised fight against hard-hitting Lucas Matthysse (28-1, 26 KOs) of Argentina. The fight is being positioned for a date of June 25. According to King, negotiations are ongoing with Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, but so far the two sides have not agreed on the money. King is hoping to finalize a deal.
He best not, atleast not with Kevin Cunningham in his corner.
LMAO True,Cunningham would make for a better Cheerleader then a trainer tbh..He is great at building confidence, not so great at giving instructions..Comment by Doctor_Tenma on 03-12-2011
He couldn't finish off Judah when he had him down and it took him 8 knockdowns for the ref to step in and stop the Corely fight. Alexander has never been legitimately knocked down before. Devon got this by UD.
…Post a Comment - View More User Comments (35)
