Unbeaten welterweight Alex Saucedo will fight Jake Giuriceo on May 30, Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman told Boxingscene.com on Wednesday afternoon.

The Saucedo-Giuriceo bout, along with the eight round bout between unbeaten lightweights Saul Rodriguez and Antonio Capulin bout, will be televised on UniMas, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ PT.

In his last bout on February 7th, Saucedo (17-0, 12 KOs) stopped Eduardo Flores in the third round. The 20 year old Saucedo will be fighting eight rounds for the third time in his pro career.

Giurieco (17-3-1, 4 KOs) will be a significant step up in opposition for Saucedo. The Youngstown, Ohio native began his pro career winning his first 16 bouts in a row, but has lost three of his four bouts.

In his last bout on April 11, Giuriceo lost an eight round unanimous decision to junior welterweight contender Viktor Postol in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Saul Rodriguez (16-0-1, 13 KOs), who hails from the Southern California city of Riverside, was scheduled to fight Jerry Nardo on March 14, but withdrew from the fight after coming down with a case of the chicken pox.

Antonio Capulin (14-0, 6 KOs) hails from Houston, Tex. Capulin, who has only faced one fighter with a winning record, has not fought since November 15, when he defeated Marteze Logan by unanimous decision over six rounds.
