On the evening of March 9th at the Olympic Coliseum in Guadalajara, prospect Alejandro "Cobrita" Gonzalez Jr., who returns from destroying Hanzel Martinez in two rounds, will see action. This time, "Cobrita" Jr. (17-0-2, 11 KOs) will face a difficult, stubborn, tough and experienced fighter from the Havana, Jonathan Lecona (12-12-2, 4 KOs), a southpaw who uses all kinds of strategies and that in his last fight won by a clear unanimous decision in 10 rounds over  Enrique "Duende" Bernache. "Cobrita" is son of the former WBC world featherweight champion Alejandro Gonzalez, who was an idol in the nineties.

In the main event of the show, Edgar Sosa and Ulises Solis will faceeach other  for the third time. The card will be televised on Azteca 7. Edgar Sosa (47-7-0, 28 KOs) wants to avenge two prior close decision losses to Ulises "Archie" Solis (35-2-3, 22 KOs).
