Joseph Agbeko (29-4, 22KOs) is bringing in Puerto Rican flyweight Jonathan 'Bomba' Gonzalez (13-1, 11KOs) as a sparring partner for the upcoming fight with WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (12-0, 8KOs), taking place on December at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Agbeko, a former champion and also a big underdog in the match, is making several changes in his training to prepare for the Olympic gold medal winner from Cuba. Agbeko is even training with Roger Mayweather, the uncle and trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"I was called to spar with Agbeko and I accepted," said Gonzalez to Carlos Narvaez. "For me it is a great opportunity to continue training because I have no date for my return. I'll work with him for about two weeks and I will to continue preparing until a promoter [hooks up with me] to continue my career."
