| Adrien Broner is Hoping To Fight Four Times in 2012

By Edward Chaykovsky WBO super featherweight champion Adrien Broner (22-0, 18KOs) is hoping to have a very active 2012. The unbeaten champion returns on February 25th and defends his belt against fellow unbeaten Eloy Perez (23-0-2, 7 KOs), in St. Louis. The fight will be televised on HBO as a co-feature to a welterweight clash between Devon Alexander and Marcos Maidana. Broner wants to fight at least four times in the new year. Andrew Williams, a co-promoter of Broner along with Golden Boy Promotions, told Cincinnati News that his Broner's next fight after St. Louis will be back in Cincinnati in May. Were looking to fight four times in 12 two on the road, two here, Williams said. HBO was very impressed with how we did here. He should fight Perez, and than rematch Ponce De Leon in May. PDL is Mexican, so May would make sense around CInco De Mayo. After that, go for Gamboa at 130, and than maybe Lopez (if he wants to move up) or Uchiyama, or he could just move up to 135, where there's guys like DeMarco, Linares, Marqu... |

I would like to see him fight two fights at 130 then move to 135 'there is' more big names at that weight he can make some more money there. |

And Broner struggled with PDL who both JML and Cab beat easily.
Broner has to have more fights before we start crowning him king.
