Experienced trainer Rudy Perez will be responsible for the preparation of Adrián "Confessor" Hernandez, the junior flyweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC). Perez is currently in Puerto Rico training Marcos Maidana for a junior welterweight bout with Robert Guerrero on August 27. Hernandez won the title with an eleven round stoppage of Gilberto Keb in April.

"Adrian is a great fighter and we are not going to change his style. We will give him some very strong training sessions to correct some mistakes," Perez said.
