Mr. Cesar Bazan, the trainer of Adrian and a former WBC lightweight champion revealed “Adrian is in good condition now. I already watched video of the challenger Kompayak CP Freshmart (43-3, 29KOs). He has strong power but Adrian has a much better boxing technique. We will win the fight.”

The challenger Kompayak CP Freshmart is training at the National Sports Training Center, located in the Saraburi province of Thailand. He trains side by side with with WBC world flyweight champion Pongsaklek Wonjonkham, WBC Youth junior flyweight champion Yodmongkol Wor Seangthep, WBC youth flyweight champion Petch Sor Jitpattana and so on.

The challenger has had more than a 100 rounds of sparring with bigger boxers such as Yodmongkol to prepare for the fight fight with Adrian.

Kompayak stated - "I’m very glad to face Adrian because this is my first world title challenge. I like to fight with fighters like Adrian. Our fight should be a very exciting battle for the audience.”

The fight will be held at the 11th infantry Regiment in Bangkok, Thailand on December 23rd and broadcasting by Thai TV channel 7 from 14:00 until 15:00 (Bangkok time).

:bs2: he sold the title or is stupid enough to think he's making a defense when they treat its like a vacant title with the home fighter getting all the close rounds.
