Deportivo Agustín Ramos Millan, Toluca, México - Making his second defense of the WBC junior flyweight championship, Adrian “The Confessor” Hernandez (27-2-1, 16 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Yader Cardoza (15-5, 5 KOs). The scores were 116-112, 118-110 and 116-112. Hernandez landed a lot of big shots but a very determined Cardoza continued to come forward with punches of his own for most of the fight.

Female WBC silver flyweight champion Ava Knight (11-1-3, 5 KOs) retained her title for the first time with a ten round unanimous decision over Linda “Muñeca” Soto (5-2, 3 KOs). Knight, now unbeaten since 2009, has gone 7-0-1 since.
